Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Children love this book
I bought this book because I knew it was family bed-friendly. But I have an 8 year old step-daughter who comes every other weekend who does not sleep with us and she absolutely loves this book also! Kids seem to really get a kick out of the repeating line, How am I supposed to sleep like this?! Like other reviewers, I love the realism-there are nights where you don't love the crowded bed, but you still wouldn't trade it for another arrangement!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Funny and touching
The pictures are delightful, and the simple story is enjoyable for children of all ages. It was also a nice way to show my husband that we are not the only people who never use our crib for sleeping. It also let me know I am not the only mother with a husband lamenting, "How am I supposed to sleep like this?"

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fun to read
This book is adorable and fun to read. Dad just can't make up his mind, as more babies are added to the family it is becoming more difficult for him to sleep - he builds the bed bigger and bigger and bigger. The results of having the biggest bed in the world are amusing. Then Dad is hard at work again, bunking the kids in another room only to find it difficult to sleep without them. This is a fun 'snuggly' book full of beautiful illustrations.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Loved it!!
Love this book - and appreciate the humorous honesty that is implied in the book. We are a co-sleeping family, and wouldn't have it any other way, but it does have its moments when I am squished and uncomfortable!!! I love that the daddy in this book feels annoyed, but in the end realizes that he wants his kids right where they belong!! Right next to him!! I recommend this book to any co-sleeping family!! My kids just ADORE it, and my 3 year old is ready to build her own "biggest bed in the world!!!" ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Pretty good, but not fabulous
It may be that my daughter is still too young to really appreciate this book. She likes it, but it is not one of her faves. It is very sweet and is one of the few books available for children who share the family bed.
