But the youthful passion that led them to Lookout Point that terrible evening would prove fatal. For Richie Walters the end came swiftly, as death descended upon him in a savage orgy of horrific violence. Elaine Murray would live long enough to learn just how lucky her boyfriend had been ... Two brutal slayings have rocked a stunned city. But the murders are merely the nightmare's beginning, flinging open a terrifying Pandora's box of sordid secrets and dark revelations more deadly than the bloodlust that lives in the rock-hard heart of a killer. Rating: - HeartstoneA young woman struggles to remember what happened the night two of her fellow classmates were brutally murdered. The only problem is, are these memories fact, or are they manipulated by the hypnotist and overzealous cop who needs her to be the case winner? This was a very fast read and his characters great. Rating: - Page-Turneri have read everyone of Philip Margolin's books and Heartstone was the first one that i read. this book is a MUST-READ. I read the whole thing in about 3 hours, i could not put it down once i started. The ending that you thought would be by the middle of the book takes a different turn TWICE, making you say "What the Hell", but its awesome. this book is worth it. The wait to be called dragged on and I forced myself to get past the first chapter. ... It literally depends on the section of the book you are in. Prosecutor Al Caproni has a message brought to him that a drifter named Heartstone wants to see him a about a long-past high profile double murder that he helped to prosecute. The narration then flashes back to the night of the murder and follows the original investigation and prosecution of the case. At times, this ... Read More In association with Amazon.com | |
