Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for kids!
I've been on the lookout for a good little book on survival to use as a text in a class I'm teaching for 7-8 grade students at a local elementary/Jr. High school. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent book
This book is comprehensive and extremely thorough. Diagrams and drawings supplement written instructions on everything from knot tying, snare construction, animal preperation and edible plants.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good as a pocket survival guide.
This book is great. It tells you basic needs for survival like how to find water, make shelter and purify water. It is just a great book. If you frequently travel to different places like jungles or forests and you want to know how to survive in the wild if you get lost, this is a good book to get.

I have noticed a lot of typos in the book, but I still consider it the best survival book I have seen, and I highly reccomend it. I also have the larger version, which is a little easier ...
