Editorial Review:

Product Description:

Who of us can claim never to have made a mistake, missed a goal, regretted a choice, or suffered because of another's action? For those who suffer from a constant sense of regret about the past, who feel their present lives have been immutably shaped by actions they could or should or would have taken but didn't, real help is at hand. In clear, uncomplicated language, Dr. Arthur Freeman, a leading exponent of cognitive therapy, and his colleague Rose DeWolf, a skillful translator of the cognitive method, describe the techniques and provide exercises that will enable readers to actually "unblock" the past. The authors demonstrate that wouldo/coulda/shoulda thinking can be unlearned and that this process can be accomplished in a relatively short period of time.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent book
Most people have regrets and quite a few people have the "comparing themselves to others syndrome." The book bases itself on the mental technique called "cognitive behavioral therapy." This thinking does not allow us to let go of past regrets then we basically ruin our own future.
I am guilty of such thinking ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Good book, but The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook is much
better. It helps you understand why you feel they way you do and how to think and feel better.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good concept; poor presentation
I liked the book. I learned things from the book. The writing style and presentation are offputting - it seems a collection of classroom lectures more than a self-help book.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Woulda,Coulda, Shoulda: Overcoming Regrets, Mistakes, and Missed Opportunities
The book had a lot of useful information that is useful and helpful to overcome many problem in our daily lives, but the book is a vey dry read and takes a bit of patience to follow the author at times.
