Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Now expanded with new coverage of genetics, more therapy and management strategies, and more references throughout, this guide remains one of the most practical resources for diagnosis and treatment of hematologic conditions commonly seen in general practice. The clear, succinct language is meant for the non-hematologist who wants the salient points of clinical signs, etiology and pathophysiology, laboratory tests, differential diagnosis, and treatment in one convenient manual.

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Better than the speakers
The book covers all the fundamentals, and while not as in depth as the Victor Marder tome,...it does help in teaching medical students and residents. Some of the chapters were written by faculty members of the University of Vermont. To tell the truth, the printed word is much more understandable than hearing the speakers in person. In all, a good book for learning the basics.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A readable review of coagulation for Boards exams
I was recommended this book as a concise review of coagulation for my pediatric hematology/oncology specialty boards re-certification exam. The book does not disappoint. It provides the essential information that is useful for study. It provides it in a very readable manner for those who are not coagulopathy mavens. Highly recommended.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Belive it. If not just take it & read it you'll belive it
To gain knowledge about thrombophilic and coagulation disorders, and to practice safe important part of clinical heamtology you need as everyone to have a copy of this book
