The Second Edition now provides a bulleted list of 5 high-yield facts at the start of each chapter; key tables, diagrams, and equations on the inside covers for quick reference; and expanded material on cardiac care. Download Description: 'Like its parent textbook, this handbook focuses on the salient points of managing pediatric emergencies but uses an outline format to summarize the information you need to know. You'll review all conditions commonly seen in the ED, including: resuscitation conditions, including sudden infant death syndrome; trauma care; respiratory emergencies; cardiovascular emergencies; dermatologic emergencies, including infant rashes; toxicologic emergencies; pediatric and adolescent gynecology; and much more. Major points of etiology, pathophysiology, the patient exam are presented along with differential diagnosis and treatment of each condition. Each chapter is referenced to the comprehensive Pediatric Emergency Medicine for additional reading. Average Rating:

The set up of the text and it's sections/chapters should be familiar ... Read More In association with Amazon.com | |
