Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Neurology Textbook
Good textbook for Neurology registrars. Written by only two authors it gives the text a more consistent approach compared to other texts.

The font is big enough and doesn't strain ones eyes during those late nights of studying.

What I like is the introductory review of the anatomy and physiology of the appropriate section at the start of each chapter. This saves one having to open another book to look for that information.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good information but very judgemental
Good information but the authors put their own 2 cents in when it would better if they would remain objective. To me that was not very professional.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not my kind of book
This book is packed with excellent information, but such info is very hard to extract. The style is verbose, and there is no way to differentiate what is mandatory to know from what is advisable to know to what is impermissible not to know. Because of this poor design, it is almost useless unless you already know the topic pretty well.

If you are specializing in the topic, buy it. If you are planning to buy this as your first clinical neurology book, find something else.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Book
Detailed book in Neurology. This book is wealth of new information and researches in Neurology. I would recommend this book for who is interested in Neurology as reference and text book.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - An ideal and a superb text
This book is a classic reference text in neurology surpassing any other book in the field . Every resident in neurology should possess one and neurologists are no exemption . The minute details in genetics are kept to the bare minimum and at the same time the clinical aspects are stressed . The neuroanatomy and physiology at the beginning are simply fantastic. Kudos to Professor A. Ropper .
