I can recommend it to everybody who has to do with psychiatry in clinical practice, school,... The book is a good companion in training in diagnostical matters. Rating: - Great for psych rotationI found this book, along with First Aid for psych, a great resource. It provides a great overview over of the DSM-IV topics with good realistic examples. If you don't have a lot of time (like any resident does), using this will help. The only thing truly missing is coverage of brain imaging and pathological changes with different diseases, a subject my shelf hit with several ... The cases are short and give all the necessary 'need to know' info in a concise, organized manner! It really helped when doing write-ups and studying for shelfs! In association with Amazon.com | |
