My only critique would be that I would prefer it to be organizing by organ system. I understand that the authors want it to be more life-like, not knowing what your patients going to come in with. But since my medicine clerkship is organized into sub-specialties, it would have helped me if it were organized into organ systems. Rating: - Good clinical senario bookThis is great for internal medicine. If you like case based study, this is it. It's especially good because it has thorough discussions about each topic. And if you want to look up certain topics there is an index. Rating: - As good as it gets for Internal MedicineIt really is hard to find a good internal medicine resource that you can get through and understand all the details. This book is the best I have found for a reasonable read that actually explains the mechanisms behind the disease and treatment. It folds a case into each topic and then has a decent sized discussion about aspects such as differential diagnosis, why it is this and why it is not this, treatment, and then finishes with comprehension questions.
