 Rating:  - Great review of First Aid= great review for step 1Almost every medical student uses First Aid for Step one because the bottom line is that it works. This book is by the same authors and pretty much reviews the same topics. If you know First Aid and you can breathe than you will pass Step one and what better way to ensure that you know the material in first aid than to test yourself. I would use first aid to guide my studying and supplement it with other review books then test myself by doing the questions for the corresponding sections in the Q&A. ... Read More Rating:  - Not a great bookTHis book has to be one of my worst buys for Step 1 study. The material did not reflect the exam and many questions were much easier than the actual exam. I would suggest using USMLEworld instead...much more reflective in terms of the Step Exams Rating: - realistic although i agree that the kaplan q bank and usmle-world are invaluable resources for step one, i personally hate hate HATE to study on the computer. this book was a good solution. i found it true to the exam, and suited me and my need to have something physically in front of me to scribble on. solidly reviewing the questions in this book -- 2 or 3 times -- would be a good basis for taking step 1. Rating: - First Aid Q & AItem was received promptly. No damage noted. Excellent service is appreciated. Rating: - First Aid for USMLE-Q&AThis is a great resource for boards prep. It breaks down questions by organ system, has a large "practice test", and has some basic science sections too. Its nice because you can review a specific organ system or area and then quiz yourself with questions directed toward that specific area too.
