![]() Rating: - Excellent factual and imaginative book for younger children with beautiful illustrationsI found this book to be extremely helpful in teaching my 4yr old daughter about snails and how they live while also allowing her to see beautiful illustrations and use a bit of her imagination as well; so the book hit three important characteristics that are needed for a child's storybook. It tells of a child's imaginative journey through his/her garden while watching a snail; the child imagines to become a snail and do what the snail does; the text explains what the snail does and the child ... Read More Rating: - Not impressed I read good reviews of this book online so I ordered it. We are naturalists and it sounded like the perfect book to encourage interest in nature of a preschooler.
