The second edition of Drugs in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care quickly established itself as an essential reference text for all anaesthetists, both trainees and consultants. The third edition of this book includes information on many new drugs, with information on many others revised. The book describes the pharmacokinetics and pharmodynamics of all the drugs commonly used by anaesthetists, all organised so as to allow rapid access to specific information on the properties and characteristics of almost 200 drugs. ![]() Rating: - Good bookIts small and compact and has all u need to know about major drugs used in aneasthesia and ICU. even antibiotics. Only thing i found weird was that the drug cisatracurium (isomer of atracurium with longer mechanism of action and less histamine release) was not in there. Maiing me have to look twice on the cover to see if i really had the 3rd edition. Wonder what else isnt in there. But overall its good. Guess u cant ask for everything to be in one book right? But guys c'mon, cisatracurium (Nimbex) In association with Amazon.com | |
