 Rating:  - Why i decided to minor in sociologyThis book is a great introductory reader in social problems. It is however biased and incomplete. The book leans more towards the conflict perspective than functionalism, which is fine for me because i can't stand functionalism but may not be fine for individuals who want extensive information on functionalism more than the same basic approach which every intro textbook seems to give. I also had problems with the incompleteness of this textbook. I found it relevant to today's problems but would ...
