Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Ask the Teacher: A Practitioner's Guide to Teaching and Learning in the Classroom
The question and answer format of this book makes the information very easy to access. The information is both relevant and extremely helpful for credential students, teachers and parents. I have used this book as a reference in many of my credential classes. It always comes in as a useful resource. I have also used it to answer questions I have as a parent, in regards to my child's learning and education.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wonderful Reference!
Ask the Teacher is a well written, easy to read guide to teaching that is a must have for any teacher. The question and answer format is easy to follow and makes referencing content easy. It is full of relevent situations with real world, effective solutions.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Ask The Teacher:A Practitioner's Guide to Teaching and Learning in the Diverse Classroom
In Ask The Teacher Ryan (2008) notes that "Collaboration is a formula for better education"(p. 174). By cooperatively planning a course of action benefits students, families, and community. I appreciate the fact that Ryan poses questions to reflect upon, provides examples, and follows-up with responses and recommendations. I view this book as a bible for educators and parents. It is easy to comprehend and provides theory and practice. A MUST HAVE RESOURCE!

Respectfully,
M.B.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - worthwhile
I purchased this book for a teacher credentialing course and have found it to be a valuable resource. I am currently enrolled in a Masters program and still find the book useful and relevant. I was fortunate enough to have Mark Ryan as a teacher and found him to be extremely thorough, attentive to his students needs and insightful.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Student
I purchased this book for my credential program, but I think it will provide useful in the future as a "real" teacher and not just a student. The book is well written, easy to navigate through, and is very eye opening. I have come back to this book several times throughout my credential program to reference for my papers.
