I've bought over twenty copies of this book and have given them to friends and family. I've read it three times myself and will definitely re-read it again and again. It's the best book outside of the Bible itself. I recommend this book to EVERYONE!

Hands down, the best book on prayer I have ever read other than the Bible itself. Originally checked out from the library and ended up purchasing my own copy to read over and over. Highly recommend.

This book examines the concept of prayerlessness in the Christian community of its day - and in looking at the promises of God in the Gospel of John, the author reaches some conclusions on why Christians don't pray and why, many times, it appears that God does not answer. The book is not for the faint at heart - this anonymous Christian writer, most likely an Anglican clergyman named Albert Richardson, is very, very serious about the issue of prayer.
