Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Just what I needed
I have a 12 year old son who is beginning to go through the changes of puberty. Since I am not a boy, I had no idea what questions he might have or what he might be going through. This book answers all the questions he might have in a clear, sensitive way with funny cartoons and lighthearted words that he is actually interested in reading. I also appreciate that it is from a Christian perspective. I'm not sure what I would have done without it.

This book was EXACTLY what I was looking for! My son is 10 1/2 and I wanted something for him to read before the school introduced the topic of puberty to him. It is written in such a laid back, comical way, that it was something that he wanted to keep reading. He read this book easily in less than 2 days. It covers just enough information but not too much. It only discusses puberty and does not delve into more complex topics. The BEST part about this book is that it is written by a Christian ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, How you say.."Puberty!!"..great way to get a conversation going, on an awkward subject!
This book was recommended to us by our family Dr. let me preface this with the disclaimer that he. & we, are Christians :-)

So we had expectations that this would address these subjects from a "Christian" viewpoint. Which it does. Not really from ANY specific "religion", just an over all pointing back to the what the Bible has to contribute to some of the subjects touched upon. It is not trying to convert anyone into any specific religion or anything like that. It just takes it for granted ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - "Everything a boy should know but won't ask!"
That's what it says on the book and that is exactly the case with my son. I have 3 so this book will be well used! I understand some of the negative comments regarding the amount of biblical perspective in the book. I however, bought the book from a Christian book store so I already knew what I was getting. Buying a book like this off of Amazon makes it tricky. I don't think amazon was trying to deceive anyone at all nor the publishers. There are many books that may appeal to me by the description on ... Read More

My 8 year old loved the humor in the book, and he appreciated all the important, hard to just "bring up" information that it gave him. I liked the good information that was given, but not "too much" for this age group! I'd definately recommend this book to anyone with a little boy!
