 Rating:  - Manga Bible BooksAll these are great. The faster the guy writes them the better. My son hated to read at the beginning of the school year (early-August for us) and I am not kidding when I say these books helped to actually enjoy all kinds of reading. I bought the first one and two days later he asked me if there were more! Now he doesn't seem to mind reading books without pictures. It could just be he was ready to read more but I can't help but feel these books had something to do with it. Rating:  - Light on teaching... very entertaining for my six year oldFirst I should say that it would be worthwhile for parents to review the page inserts on the publisher's home site as some may find the style & humor used in this graphic novel irreverent since this is a retelling of the bible as a comic with the author's own style / humor in it. I thought it was fine and it steps kids through the books so they know the people and events in a section of the bible that normally kids this age would normally skip with a few exceptions.
