America targets Asians and finding ways to extort money from them, which is still happening today. Rating: - A Book Every American Should ReadThis was my textbook for my Asian-American History class in college and this was one I did not sell back. This is a very interesting read about the various groups of Asian immigrants to America and their struggles. This is history you never hear about and thus makes it even more captivating. Takaki's style of writing is easy to follow and never dull. I recommend this for anyone who is seriously interested in race studies or American history.
