Goljan, his book, and his lectures are what enabled me to pass pathology. It is an excellent review book.

Rapid Review is a must have. Goljan's notes cover the pathology, as well as associated physiology and pharmacology (some). If you don't have this book you're missing out.

I used this book to prepare for USMLE step1 & I can say with great confidence after I compared it with many other Pathology book, it's a must , if u want to score in the 90s.

Dr. Goljan is incredible. This book has great images that are helpful in random path diagnoses. Very high yield. Very easy to read. Tables/outline form. Also check out his audio lectures.

My pathology course was taught by the guys who WROTE BRS (the major competitor for this book), so my entire path knowledge come February was just excerpts from BRS. Not nearly enough to do well. Around March I obtained the Goljan lectures that have been heavily torrented online. These lectures were FANTASTIC and explained things in detail so I could understand the pathology and underlying mechanisms, explained diagnostic techniques, and even discussed treatments.
