![]() Rating: - Not for everyone, not anymore!A little bit out-of-date in the way body systems are reviewed in the Center (body) part of the book. Principally, the single section that I found valuable throughout my Dental school was the summary review of systems that is offered at the front of the book, which worked as a fast reference (basically, I tore that section off from the rest of the book!). Read More Rating: - a great and helpful bookthe book helped me in my training practice since i am a dental student. it listed in a very clear and simple way the special measures i must take when treating a patient with a medical condition. and the summery table in the begining of the book, is a quick and easyly understood resourse. Rating: - Horribly out of date nowThis book may have been okay when it was published but using it as a text in 2007 is a big mistake my instructor really regrets. There are many other guides that are lower in price and have more concise and up to date information available. Do not waste your time with this one. Many of the descriptions are ambiguous and hard to follow. Rating: - Most used textbook during my residencies! This was an invaluable book that I only glanced at a few times during dental school, but during both my hospital based-general practice residency and pediatric residency was my constant guide. It provides both medical and dental management for most encountered problems that patients present with and has lots of great quick reference tables! Rating: - Excellent reference for dental practitionersThis text has become the standard reference and source of definitive information for dental management of medically compromised patients. It serves as the textbook for Oral Medicine in many dental schools and offers practitioners valuable insight into care for acutely and chronically ill patients. In association with Amazon.com | |
