It prepares EMT-Basic students for state or national EMT-Basic certification exams. This edition presents key objectives of the national curriculum of the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic course. It incorporates more than 290 new questions similar to the EMT-B certification exam format -- multiple-choice questions, with fill-in-the-blank and discussion questions also provided. More than 1,100 questions in total are grouped according to subject in each chapter, followed by an answer key with rationale. Since most states mandate recertification for EMTs every two to four years, this text is also a good review for certified EMTs who need a concise refresher for recertification.

The book is packed with lots of questions and answering as many questions as you can is the only way to do well on the test. Read More Rating: - Good Registry PrepThe book is full of questions like you will see on the Registry exam. By keeping "score" while reading the questions, you can determine sections of the exam on which you need to focus your preparation. It's a good study tool. In association with Amazon.com | |
