Definitely worth looking at! After receiving a low score, I also look at alternative books to the Kaplan. This book is clearly written and has easy to follow instruction (Whereas Kaplan may packs overwhelming notes into a single page). Some of its verbal strategies are not founded in Kaplan as well; that's what makes it worth reviewing. Although it lacks the opulence in vocabulary words, its strategies and examples are used in layman terms.

After taking the GRE and not being satisfied with my verbal score, I turned to this book. I used it everyday for about five weeks and improved my score the next time around. Pay specific attention to the vocab, it's the key to doing well on the GRE.
