Editorial Review:

Product Description:
This comprehensive, profusely illustrated text presents a pattern-analysis approach to the interpretation of diagnostic neuroimaging findings. The book contains approximately 700 case studies and 2,200 radiographs that cover virtually every disorder of the cranium, skull base, mandible, temporomandibular joints, sella, orbit, paranasal sinuses, neck, and spine. The cases are organized into chapters based on specific disease entities. Each chapter begins with an image gallery presenting one representative image from each case, together with associated clinical data and a summary of the relevant imaging findings. These image galleries visually demonstrate the characteristic imaging patterns and presentations of the varied disease entities within specific anatomic sites. The underlying causes of these patterns are discussed within the cases. Each individual case includes clinical data, imaging findings, a diagnosis, and a discussion that covers differential diagnosis and pathological observations. Each chapter concludes with a table of differential diagnosis and exhaustive bibliographies for each case. Extensive cross-referencing enables the reader to find related information easily.
