![]() Rating: - Excellent Compilation of Tumor PathologyThis new 2-volume set is well-written, clearly organized, and does an admirable job of covering the vast topic of tumor pathology. The pictures are crisp and colorful and can be downloaded from the accompanying CD's to be used in powerpoint presentations. Be aware that non-neoplastic disease is not covered, as this set is dedicated solely to tumors. Overall, well worth the money! Rating: - Updated and comprehensive bible for tumor pathologyI was a little hesitant spending $400 of my $500 book fund allowed per year on this updated version of Fletcher. I have been using the departmental copy of the previous edition of this book so far and I can only say that this has been the best and most concise reference book for tumor pathology. I am impressed at how updated this new edition is. This will save me a lot of time going to read journal articles for updated classification schema and new variants of tumors etc. All in all, a great book ... Read More Rating: - Beautiful textThis is a beautiful new (third) edition of this text, and improvements abound from its predecessor (which I also liked). The images are better in many chapters. The tables are well organized. As a general pathologist, I've found myself using this general text more and more. I can often get as much information as I need without turning to a subspecialty text. Very nice job. In association with Amazon.com | |
