We all need a reason to get up everyday. We all need to reach for something beyond ourselves. Over the centuries, millions of people have asked, "What am I here for? What is my purpose?" We are born; we live; and we die. We cannot do anything about being born or dying, but we can do a lot about how we live. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Excellnt bookThis is a another great book by Joyce Meyer. It is a book that helps you to really think about where you are in your spiritual life. There are questions to help you evaluate yourself. It is a great for someone who wants to grow spiritually. Rating: - Not that greatHer bottom line message is revelant to all. I was annoyed with how she inaccurately quoted the bible. She took a lot of quotes out of context and manipulated them to represent her point of view. You could easily read the title of each section and her quotes pulled out of her writing and get more from the book than reading the entire book. It was like reading a paper from a classmate in high school. Overall, I agree with the point of each chapter but not the her writting. Rating: - No, I dare youI agree with the other reviewers that the voice in the audio isn't that great, but even so the message is inspirational. For someone who has lived through a very difficult life, I have found much inspiration and motivation through Joyce. To be honest Joyce isn't that easy to listen to herself, her voice is rough and tumble, but that's just her and yet, even so, to be able to inspire and motivate people and give them hope - that says a lot about her. Get this, you won't regret it! 6 hours is not that ... Read More Rating: - no passion in the presentationThe message is solid, but the presentation is weak. If it was Joyce doing the audio, it would be great, but there was less passion in the reading than I would have given, and I talk like a robot. Rating: - I dare you reviewthe book is great. I'm not fond of the voice who read the book. Joyce should record her own books on audio, would make a world of difference! In association with Amazon.com | |
