 Rating:  - Helped me to understand diabetes better. I was diagnosed a month ago with type 2 diabetes. Although I have a very mild form of it and my doctor is hopeful that it can be reversed I was terrified. I didn't want to go down the road of amputations, blindness, and kidney disease. That's when I found this book. I have a better understanding of diabetes now and a low glycemic diet makes perfectly good sense to me.
