 Rating:  - GREAT SCI-FI FOR KIDSI read this book in middle school. I hated reading and probably only read about 4 books in all my 12 years of schooling and this was one of them. I am now 26 and still recommending this book. Rating:  - Underrated gemI read this in third grade and it has stuck with me all these years. I'm getting a used copy of it to see what it was about the book that affected me so much. Rating: - Great gift for kids 10+I read this book when I was in 6th Grade and I still remember it - it obviously made an impression. I even wrote a book report on it! The style of writing is appealing, and this book definitely cannot bore anyone. Adults and kids will enjoy it. Rating: - I can't believe I found itI read this book as an elementary student. I guess it impressed me since I still remember it. This book was a great example of sci-fi for kids. I really enjoyed it! I am purchasing it now for my own classroom collection and for my daughter. Rating: - Has anyone else read this?I read this back in the 4th grade. I found it to be a creepy, orginal scifi thriller. The alien in this book is very chilling, and i enjoy the relationship between the three heros, which begins with two of them bullying the third and ends with them banding together to save each other's lives.
