 Rating:  - Basic, but helpfulI liked the way this book broke down the age groups from 1-2 year olds, three to four and four to five. I also liked their layout and suggestions for how to make music & movement areas in a preschool or kinder class. However, I could use some more specific music and movement games/activities to use in class, and where they fit in the modalities of basic music and movement. Overall a helpful book Rating:  - nice, but preschoolers can do more than thisI like the suggestions for child-initiated songs (page 11), child-initiated rhythms (page 12), taking advantage of teachable moments (page 13), allowing children to choose songs (page 15), and taking cues from the children (page 20). But with only a little musical training, a preschool teacher can do more for the children than is suggested in the activity plans.
