![]() Rating: - Not very well organized...This book was not very easy to get through. It was too well organized. It is mostly outlines through the entire book. It was all I could do to finish it. Not recommended. Rating: - Summarizes information!!Our class uses a text and workbook.. this is much easier to read and follow. It puts everything in outline form so its easy to study and good review questions after every section. Much easier to study for an exam from than a text book. Its still a big book with alot of info.. but much better format. I really like it..I wish my class used this instead. Rating: - Aehlert's EMT-B Review is excellentThis book is excellent for preparing for the Basic exam as well as for quick reference. Its outline form makes it easy and fast to find information you want to review quickly. In spite it of its outline form, it still contains a wealth of information. This book is a must have for any Basic student's library!! I have used it to prepare for my test, and have used it to help tutor other students. My acquaintances also attest to its helpfulness. Also like the "enrichment" part near the end of each chapter. It really adds useful info. So this isn't as much of a review as it is a "heads up" about this text and its format. If you've read one of the traditional EMT text books, you are well aware of how wordie they tend to get. This text is a radical departure from the norm. Much like the other texts by Barb Aehlert (the lead author), this book is wonderfully concise yet inclusive (not an oxymoron in this case, trust me). I've taught EMT's and ... Read More In association with Amazon.com | |
