The second edition of this extensively illustrated student textbook describes in detail the skills required to accurately identify and palpate surface structures and landmarks on a living subject through an intact skin. Informative and invaluable, the book unlocks a vast quantity of information undetectable by sight, and aids the practitioner in patient assessment and diagnosis using manual contact techniques.New colour illustrations show marker dots with clear leader lines to bones, joints, muscles, nerves, arteries and veins together with descriptions of the surface marking of organs.
