Individual chapters discuss body systems, both how they function individually and together as a unit. In addition to the overall picture of each system, this text presents both the gross anatomy and the microscopic anatomy of vital structures. Since the study of anatomy and physiology requires some basic chemistry knowledge, there is a basic chemistry review provided in the Appendix Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Fun to ReadSo often you have to drag yourself to the book when studying Anatomy. This one is so well written and illustrated; it is actually fun to read. Not too much detail to get lost, but certainly enough to cover all the main points. If you want to dig down into further detail on anything, I recommend "Atlas of Human Anatomy" by Frank H. Netter, MD. Rating: - FANTASTIC TEXTThe pictures are what I found most intriguing about this text. The anatomy & physiology topics were also critical in my studies. This book ranks high with: (Human Antatony & physiology) by Elaine N. Marieh. This text gave a lot of information from another perspective. (KEY FACTS FOR ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY) by Patrick Leonardi. This was right to the point. Less complex to read. Extremely helpful to study for exams. In association with Amazon.com | |
