Product Description:
Revised and updated to reflect Florida’s most recent College Level Academic Skills Tests, this manual presents a diagnostic test and two full-length CLASTs, all with answers and explanations. Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Inaccurate and ineffective
The trouble with this review book is that the answer guide is full of incorrect answers and they are not even on the pages they refer to. I thoroughly reviewed every page of this study guide before taking the CLAST and missed a passing grade by 6 points. My laborious efforts did not pay off because the book is full of misinformation that makes it difficult to determine if you answered incorrectly or if the book was simply wrong. Furthermore, the majority of answers are simply answers and in no ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This book sucks
There are so many mistakes in the math part you don't know if you are right or wrong. My friend has a 1996 edition and we compared the two editions. The 1996 edition has the same exact mistakes as the 2003 edition. So on the math portion the author has not proof read or had it proof read since 1996. The math portion is exactly word for word identical in the two editions. As for the english, I can't comment, I did not compare them, but I would assume it is the same. They did add a section on the computer ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Embarrassing Book
This book has many errors in it and is an embarrassment to the publisher. I am speaking here only of the math sections. The presentation is sketchy and poorly explained. The typesetting of signed numbers is hard to read. The problem is that nobdoy else is publishing current study guides to the CLAST because it apparently doesn't pay. All the old guides aren't current anyway and don't talk about the computer version . This book mentions that version but doesn't help much by saying that it is easier than the ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Oh My
This book is very confusing! The answers are not where they are suppposed to be. Sometimes there are no answers at all.
It is so sloppy that I wonder if the correct answers that are given are right. I can not believe that this book was ever published.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK
I have never been so disappointed with the quality of a test prep book in my life. First thing I noticed, the sample question's page numbers dont correspond with the page numbers on the answer page, and I just took the math practice, Oh my. I missed questions because of misprinted numbers and operation signs and some of the answers in the answer key are just flat out wrong. one question asked me to solve for x in "-10>x>49" Im sorry, there is no number that is greater than 49 and less than negative 10, and ...
