 Rating: - teaches me what i need to know!taking the GRE blows, but this book does a decent job of reviewing key concepts. Rating:  - ExcellentI had 3 1/2 weeks to get ready for the GRE. I went online and purchased this book and received it within 5 days. Right off the bat I took the diagnostic test inside, and got a 790. Pretty bad. Over the next three weeks I went through all of the reviews, trips and tricks, and I worked every problem. Then I did the sample exams in the book and the two GRE Powerprep online tests. The GRE is given on a computer and it's important to study in the format that you would test in. Rating:  - GREI do not think this book is brand new, because I find the cover of the book is not flat. Maybe that is because of shipping. They shipped the book quite soon. Rating: - Useful for quick and extensive GRE preparationBarron's gives you the needed basics when it comes to vocab and math part of the GRE. Its list of words is quite extensive and the mathematics review is useful for those who have been distant from math for a while. I did however find the Essay section a bit dry. It could contain more examples and more interesting tips. A good point to note is that it contains two full tests and a diagnostic test, giving you the chance to see where your weaknesses lie.
