 Rating:  - The pros and cons of this bookThe con, first. I don't think this book should be used as a stand-alone guide. You should also buy one of those other fat books. The pro. This book builds your self-confidence, which I believe is the key to doing well on the exam. I've gone through about five different books, and none other has built my confidence more than this book. The authors' strategies are awesome. They show you the common pitfalls and traps to avoid. I loved it. Rating:  - tips and tricksThis book consists of a few quick tips and tricks for speeding up your response time, and possibly eliminating a few choices on the GRE. Other than that, it contains a couple of practice tests, with explanations for all of the answers. It is broken up into weekly sections, which you are supposed to finish one lesson per day for 30 days. The first 8 days contains tips for each section, which I read all of in one day. The next 2 weeks consist of one complete practice test, broken up into one section ... Read More Rating: - Funny and informativeDon't bother with other prep books. This is the only one you'll need -- concise and (I think)quite representative of the real exam. Excellent book for those who only have a short time to prepare. They say 30 days, but you can do it in 10.
