 Rating:  - useful tool, especially during your first yearevery med student needs a good dictionary and this one fit the bill for me. its too large to take with you. try tabers if you need something portable. this definitely helped me navigate first year, where it seemed like the profs were speaking a different language! Rating: - You can't trust a book by it's cover...Good dictionary. However, there are better ones (particularly Tabers). I have less physically attractive medical dictionaries with no color and a boring cover that seem to have the definitions I am looking for when Stedman's doesn't. Adequate dictionary but perhaps Taber's in a better value.
