Thoroughly revised and updated, this pocket–sized manual is written by the staff and fellows at the Cleveland Clinic and published in partnership with Topol's Textbook of Cardiovascular Medicine, Second Edition. It presents effective approaches to common clinical syndromes and describes the procedures and medications currently used for diagnosis and treatment, in a concise outline format that is ideal for quick reference. The Second Edition features a completely updated section on cardiovascular drugs and seven new chapters on diabetes mellitus, peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, myocarditis, mechanical support devices, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT.
