![]() Rating: - very high yield indeed!this book is a very good source for your step 1 prep...the title says it all, high yield!! but unfortunately, you do need to supplement it with other ana book because this book only covers some of the most common in ana... Rating: - Good for quick reviewGreat when you are cramming for step one and need to rememer all those things you have forgotten. I would not suggest only using this for anatomy during your first two years of Med School because it is probably not detailed enough as a sole source. Rating: - Horrible as a PA textHad this "review" book and "USMLE" prep book as predominant resource for PA school. Could not understand text as it was over my (and most if not all of my classmates) head. I guess it would be acceptable for the target audience, but first semester PA students are not the target audience by any stretch. Should not seem to be a coincidence that the instructor that required the book was one of the authors. I would presume this to be a financial conflict of interest.. oh well. Rating: - Awesome review bookPerfect condition, as described, provides excellent review, pertinent case studies and relevant clinical examples. Great! Rating: - read for step 1 if time allowsthis is a nice little book to just skim through if you have when studying for step 1.it has nice tables and easy to read format that makes stuff stick. skim through it if you have time, if you think you want have time or you find yourself running out of time, then read first aid as an alternative. Even if you decide to read this book, u shouldnt read it alone supplement it with first aid.i supplemented this book with first aid and i made 229/95 on my step 1. In association with Amazon.com | |
