![]() Rating: - Excellent basic textThis book is unique in providing a basic overview of all areas of neuroradiology. The book also provides important guidelines for the performance of a number of procedures. For a single text covering the fundamentals of neuroradiology, appropriate for medical students, residents, fellows, and for board review, Castillo's "Neuroradiology Companion" is superb. Read More Rating: - Just like in the in-service exam! This is a short, inexpensive (especailly for neuroradiology) book that I found quite useful. The images are remarkably similar to the ones on the Neurology RITE. And, there is a short section on key facts in bullet form for each common neurological disease described. Additionally, the book even has info on imaging protocols and guidelines. No MR spect, but is otherwise pretty good. Has nearly 550 images! Rating: - very informative bookThis book has helped me with my knowledge of neuroradiology. i like this book very much and the best part of it all are the pictures, which are very clear. i am aldo very happy to report that the author is my uncle.
