Read More Rating:  - Bendis' Weakness Arch EverI am a huge fan of Bendis' work but I cannot recommend the Collective. The story was a constant build up leading to some finale that never seem to happen. The Collective plays off events that happened in X-men titles and seemed out of place for an Avengers book.In addition, certain elements of the story that needed emotional resonance (i.e. several characters deaths) were simply glossed over in exchange for more of the main story. Rating:  - Graphic SF ReaderPadded crudola. Or, how to make 7 pages only take 10 seconds to read, or however fast you could turn the pages, anyway. Many splash plages, blowing the crud out of Apha Flight as a throway to reintroduce a really stupid team, etc., etc. Absolutely enough to make you want to give this series the arse after similar episodes of padding previously. Don't bother.
