Being close to the ground before investing internationally is amazingly brave and smart. His claim that you can learn more about a country in 10 minutes speaking to a prositute than you can in 1 hour speaking to the country's head of state is a bold and funny claim, but I am certain there is truth to it. Very fast read. Rating: - The Ultimate Road Trip, indeedI am quite impressed by this book and Jim Rogers trip. We all would like to do a tour of the world, but very few of us can spare the time or the money. Being a retired billionaire does help in that respect and if only because it gives the necessary funding to construct your own vehicle and do as you please. Jim Rogers does precisely that.
