![]() Rating: - Perfect for homeschoolingThis book is very easy to follow. Each chapter has a short story in the beginning that uses the list words for that chapter. It also has some dictionary work. What comes between X and X in the dictionary (in the back of the book). Toward the end it introduces cursive writing alongside of the printed word. Overall an easy to follow and easy to use book. Rating: - Helpful 2I found this book to be very helpful in that it is easy to follow for student and parent. I used both the 1st and 2nd grade books. In our case, these were to be used as review tools this and the 1st grade speller accomplished that. Our daughters needs were served but because she already knew the work, it did not challenge her, so in all honesty I cannot give a better assessment of this book. Rating: - I Love This Spelling BookAs a homeschool Mom, I have never been happy with any of the spelling books I've used in the past. They were always too much. This book is just right -- the right words, the right amount of work, and the right content that holds my son's attention. I use "The Well Trained Mind" method and this works beautifully with it.
