As a psychologist specializing in treating fears and phobias, I found this book really interesting. The author is highly acclaimed in psychological circles to do with anxiety. The book is unique in that it could be used both by therapists and the general public. It's easy to read style and also being set out in a simple alphabetical format, would be helpful in diagnosing patients, and also make for great read for the everyday person in understanding more about the amazing world of fears and phobias, ... While I am not a professional in this feild I have found this book remarkably help full in in understanding what these human behaviours are, the theories behind them, some of the medications that are/have been used in some cases and a few of the clinical studies that have been done in this feild.
