I found out that in order to digest the contents of this book you need some 'minimal' experience in Internal Medicine. Unfortunately in my first year this book was better than me. It did not include extensive paragraphs on pathogenesis and mechanisms of disease, because it is only a review, and it is supposed to give you the facts in brief. Provided you have had a good 3-year training in a decent accredited internal medicine program.
