For being a first year Science teacher, I thought that this book was a huge help. It gives you a lot of good tips and resources(ones that they have created and tons of websites). I would definitely recommend this book to anyone teaching middle school.

A great guide to the practical aspect of teaching inquiry-based middle school science. Also, this book is fun to read--not only did I finish with it in no time, I also enjoyed the content and wanted more! I highly recommend this book for any novice middle school science teacher or any veteran who just wants some great advice!
