Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Yikes!
Was I ever disappointed by this! When I saw the word "encyclopedia" I assumed that's what it was, and that it was going to be a good one. But the information within is terribly scarce. The author seems to have picked only his favorites to include, when really all stones and metals should (In my opinion, even if they're not expensive or popular) be covered at least in passing, and left out a variety of information about the materials themselves and instead talked about just the more common magical ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Review of Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Crystal, Gem & Metal Magic
Very informative for beginers. The book gives lots of details on common crystals and gems and how they relate to magick; well written.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Incomplete but with some uses
Not the best book by Cunningham I've ever read. While it gives some interesting ideas the encyclopedia is incomplete. It might be useful as a stepping stone but not as a definitive source of information (but isn't that why you want an encyclopedia). The most important thing to remember (that occured to me after buying this book and disagreeing with most of his associations with the stones) is that no one can tell you how an herb or stone or whatever is going to aid you. You have to work with them ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - missing pages
I would love to give a great review for this book . However , when I recieved this ,the book was missing 1/3 of its pages , and they had no more to exchange it with .

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Crystal, Gem & Metal Magic
I was pretty disappointed with this book. While there is some information in it, I found it to be lacking. There are SO many stones with SO many uses. I had hoped that more would have been covered. Also the book had few pictures. I would not recommend this book.
