It makes BPDO both accessable and understandable. Would recommend for those diagnosed with BPDO and their loved ones as well as professionals trying to understand BPDO. I would not give this book to a person who is Paranoid and/or is a dangerous trouble maker; traits that the BPD person shows to some degree. Even if you have read "I Hate You, Don't Leave Me", you'll need to read this book to understand what the best treatment modalities available today. Of course, it was out of date the minute it was put on paper, as all books are, but it is the best that I have found to understand the causes and underlying compulsions that frustrate those who suffer from BPD.
