 Rating:  - Need more than this bookI just took the US History I CLEP exam today. I read the book twice and took all of the exams twice. I knew the material very well. About one-third of the questions that were on the exam were covered in the book. I am sure the CLEP Board changes the exams regularly and this is the reason. I still passed (barely), but only because of good guessing! This book will help, but it does not cover everything. I also studied using Spark Note charts & flashcards, and a college-level U.S. History book. ... Read More Rating:  - great book perfect study guide for CLEPI am 43 years old and had no US History since high school. I read this book in its entirety and took 2 of the practice exams and passed the CLEP with flying colors. The explanations of the correct answers to the practice tests were very valuable reading as they were very to the point. Highly recommend this book, would have been lost without it. Rating: - Clep US History Itook the clep and passed with a 72. the book was a very good study quide. apx. 75% or better of the test questions where addressed in the book. next month I will take US II using the test prep (REA) Rating: - WARNING!I studied this book for 10 days and passed this CLEP test no problem but that was some time ago and a lot of people that just now studied this book and then took CLEP History of the U.S. I are telling me that they got like a 49 on the exam so if you have never taken a CLEP test before I strongly suggest that you take a really easy CLEP test first such as Principles of Marketing. Rating:  - a good buyan excellent book for the money and good prep for the clep exam. i am well pleased with my purchase and would recommend this book to others.
