There is extensive background information on the use of these techniques. The "gold standard" techniques from previous editions for applying recombinant DNA technology to studies of mammalian embryonic development are also updated and recase, as is the summary of mouse development at a molecular level. This book offers a useful source of technical and theoretical guidance for mouse developmental biologists and geneticists and newcomers to these fields. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - good book and good conditionI was purchasing this item for someone at work. They are pleased with the book and it was in great condition when it arrived. Would order it again, if needed. Rating: - An essential book! This book is a truly guide to the manipulation of the mouse embryo. It provides theorectical information as well as practical protocols. Every page has useful tips and data related to the mouse phisiology and care. Rating: - The New Testament?A definitive summary of mouse development and simple, concise proven protocols. This is the best publication there is for this kind of work. It's much better than the 2nd, ed. I wish it had more of a troubleshooting focus, but I guess if you are in this line of work, you should be able to figure out problems yourself, or query the tg list.... I like how there are alternative strategies mentioned depending on how your lab is equiped (or not). In association with Amazon.com | |
