Laminated front and back covers, cardstock paper, and plastic spiral binding make the book durable day-in and day-out. Color-coded pages group the information by topic and make it quickly accessible. Shirt pocket size allows it to go anywhere - the wards, E.R., O.R., or clinic. This inexpensive pocket guide will save you time at work and make you look good in the process. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Cheaply made and not worth the priceFirst off, this "book" is really tiny--11 pages that resemble someone's 3x5 note cards. The print is tiny, and aside from the laminated cover, the pages don't seem durable or well-printed. After reading the all the rave reviews, I was very disappointed when I received this. This thing is not worth the price and could be easily replaced by a dozen self-made notecards stapled together. This is by far the worst medical "book" that I've ever purchased. Rating: - The best reference tool!It is so worth the seven bucks. Especially if you are entering into an advance practice role. It is the best pocket size reference tool :) Rating: - Very cheaply made. This was very cheaply made. It looked like zerox copies on different color construction paper. The only nicely made part was the plastic cover and back. Not worth the price. Rating: - Necessity of Med StudentsYou should NEVER start a clinical rotation in med school without this in your pocket. ALL medical students and residents should have this. Rating: - Good but not great.I use this more in general practice settings, like family practice rotations. For speacialties, not so great. You can't find a better product for the price though, unless you make it yourself. Which would cost you more than the $8 it costs to buy it here. In association with Amazon.com | |
