 Rating:  - Maxwell is a must have for all medical studentsMaxwell is a quick pocket reference that I would recommend to any medical student or intern. It is concise and organized by color coded pages, very easy to carry in your jacket. There are sections on ACLS protocols, normal values, how to write common orders and procedure notes, APGAR scores/immunization schedules, GCS/neuro exam/dermatomes, as well as how to write an H & P. The 'book' is the size of a flash card and only has 11 printed pages or 11 flash cards I should say. At this price plus shipping it came up >$10. Honestly the thing looks like it should be no more than $5 including shipping and handling. Not only that the writing is very small and jumbled and I find the content to be questionable. If it was cheaper I would not be this angry. Rating: - exellent serviceThe item arrived in excellent conditions! Also it came in a very nice package wich protected it. This article is very useful for my clerkships when you need pointers in just a few minutes of the most common things needed during rotations! Rating: - Useless for NPsThe only thing I use this book for is the Snellen's chart on the back. This book is definitely geared towards the inpatient population, and more for MD residents than for NP students. Just stick with your regular Snellen Chart and save money! Rating: - Eagle EyesIt's hard to tell how good the book is because it is quite difficult to read. The very tiny print is on dark colored paper for the first section impedes lab values at a glance. However, the information it contains may well serve an inexperienced student.
