From decapitated heads to two-faced dwarves, these stories will shock, tantalize and still manage to turn you on. With stories from dark and sexy minds such as Carol Queen, Lydia Lunch, Thomas S. Roche, Blag Dahlia, Cecilia Tan, and Jarboe, Viscera is the blood and guts of erotica. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Sick! This is NOT erotica, this book is for sick an demented psychos and not for a normal healthy sexual human being. I bought it out of curiosity, oh boy did I ever learn a lesson! Rating: - Messy, boring, sophomoric attempt at shock falls shortNot entertaining at all, a collection of 25 of the worst (and fortunately very short) stories I have read. I read many short story collections in the sci-fi/horror genre and this is indeed at the bottom of the pile. There are not even inventive tales of necrophilia in this trashpile such as the editorýs review hints at; merely deviant tales of gay sex, gay violence, and other deviant sexual practices. The title says it all, and it is not for those seeking the norm. Sometimes I look for erotica that is different, and Viscera accomplished this goal. I have read many erotica collections. Viscera remains my favorite. And "The Eucharist" by Jarboe, included in the anthology, is one of the best pieces of erotica I've ever read. Rating: - raw erotica that's not afraid to dig deep"Viscera: An Anthology of Bizarre Erotica" is the provocative anthology edited by the creator of Venus or Vixen, Cara Bruce. Viscera is a lush paperback of twenty four wickedly sinful stories by such notorious authors of perverse prose as M. Christian, Cecilia Tan, Thomas S. Roche, Eve Rings and Michelle Scalise. The stories are a dark feast of deviant fiction encompassing the taboos of necrophilia, rape and bondage, death, lust and fear. Viscera unearths the forbidden obsessions that are buried deep ...
